Nature Connections

Our Nature Connections projects aim to bring people and wildlife together.

We hope our projects will:

  • Encourage people to be more connected to nature on their doorstep using a range of innovative activities.
  • Encourage people to spend time outdoors in nature and promote outdoor nature-based activities as way of improving wellbeing..
  • Help to celebrate and promote places within local communities for exploring nature outdoors.
  • Create connections between families, working age people and older people in rural communities who have an interest in nature.
  • Improve people’s skills and confidence in observing and recording wildlife.
  • Build up capacity to record wildlife sightings to improve our understanding of local biodiversity.
