From 2024, SWSEIC will run a wildlife recording group for Dumfries & Galloway and Ayrshire, carrying out field visits throughout the region with the aim of improving local wildlife records. These recording days will cover a range of habitats and taxa, though some visits may have a species or species-group focus. We hope to host events throughout all parts of the SWSEIC area.
A program of visits from April-September will be published in late winter/early spring. Booking will be required for most events, since numbers will usually be restricted due to availability of parking etc.
