SWSEIC Recorders’ Gathering 2020

Maybole

SWSEIC is pleased to welcome everyone with an interest in wildlife and wildlife recording in SW Scotland to a spring gathering in Maybole on March 7th, 2020. The event will be an informal day of talks, presentations, networking and displays covering the wonderful wildlife of SW Scotland. The theme for this years conference is ‘Past, present and future – the role of wildlife recording’. A draft programme is available to download here.

Anyone interested can see details of last year’s event at Dumfries here.

This year’s event will take place at the Carrick Centre in Maybole. The Centre has excellent public transport links being located next to Maybole Railway Station and on bus routes between Ayr and Girvan/Stranraer; we would encourage people to travel by public transport wherever possible. Car parking at the venue is limited but there is on-street parking nearby. If you are willing to share a lift (either as driver or passenger), please use one of the online car-sharing websites such as Liftshare.

Booking is essential –  please complete our online booking form here.
