Heart Moss and Newlaw Moss SSSIs near Dundrennan
This field meeting is at Heart Moss and Newlaw Moss SSSIs, near Dundrennan. Both are wet mires with one definitely having a rare marsh fern and the other a dubious record of the same species. South part of VC.
Topic: Record the status of the marsh fern and compile a list of all species on the two sites.
Location: NX7647 and NX7347
Meeting place: 10 am at the layby on the A711 at NX774488 (Information point)
Lunch and suitable outdoor gear needed. All are welcome.
