Interested in recording dragonflies but not sure where to start? Come along to one of Where’s Wildlife in Ayrshire’s Dragonfly ID workshops!
This informal course will provide a general introduction to all the dragonflies found in Ayrshire, their ecology, how to identifty them, and how to locate them. After a morning classroom session lead by own very own Mark Pollitt, we will head out to the beautiful hidden pond at Auchincruive to practice our Dragonfly ID skills.
No previous dragonfly recording experience necessary – just a keen interest in nature and an enjoyment of seeing and identifying the wildlife around you.
