Join FSC Millport’s Bioblitz! This free event is open to everyone from families to experts and anyone in between – all that’s required is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Our aim is to count as many species as possible in one day across Millport Bay.
Families can follow the treasure trail of activities from Garrison House to FSC Millport with different environments to explore along the way and expertly led activities to help you discover what animals and plants live there. Alternatively if you are a wildlife enthusiast and would like to get stuck into the ecological aspect of the day, you can complete your own biological surveys with support from experts in the field to add to the overall results. Along the way you may even spot our friends at Seasearch carrying out their underwater surveys too! Once you arrive at FSC Millport you can record all the species you found across the bay and see what else has been discovered throughout the day.
