Juncus ID training day
Torr Farm, Auchencairn
Kirkcudbrightshire Botany Group training day focusing on the identification of the 13 species of Juncus found in VC73.
The day will be structured around a morning indoor session getting used to the terminology, looking at fresh and pressed specimens and using keys to id species. The afternoon will be spent out-of-doors, finding as many of the species as we can and getting used to them under field conditions.
