Welcome to our new website!

Welcome to the new SWSEIC/Where’s Wildlife in Ayrshire? website!

The website has been developed through the Where’s  Wildlife in Ayrshire? project with the kind support of our project funders. The site will be home to information about the WWA project and over the coming weeks we will be adding further functionality, including an online recording portal where people can submit their wildlife sightings directly to the Centre. The new online recording tools will enable the data to be checked and processed more easily and allow people to see what others have been recording.

Our Ayrshire species and habitat pages are starting to take shape. As the WWA project has only been running for a few winter months we have yet to acquire images from many of the Ayrshire sites representative of the key habitats. If you have good quality images of particular habitats that you would be willing to share with us please contact Aisling, the WWA project officer.

The new website platform will also be the future home for the Centre’s website, and we will be migrating more information from our old DGERC website over the coming months. If you can’t find the information you want here, please check out the DGERC website or contact us for more information.

Please take a little time to look around and explore. If you have any suggestions for future information please let us know.
